Divine Journey

  Temples@Jabor,Terengganu

Gateway from Kuantan to Jabor

Recently the Oum Namah Shivay Team(O.N.S) had a trip to Jabor,Terengganu to discover some years old  and unique shrines there.Although we had  some hurdles on the way,the trip did not disappoint us.The trip gave us much more benefits spiritually and mentally. Let me guide you through out our journey,..

First,we travel deeper into the palm tree forest to visit a Muniswaran Temple that is believed to be many years old. This journey took us some time as we had to travel deeper in the forest with is sharp rocks and thick sand.It took us about 20 minutes to reach the temple from the Estate.

Upgrading process is going on

This is the Muniswaran Temple I was telling about, the main deity of this shrine is JadaMuniswaran Ayya or also known as JadaMuni.I could not tell actually when it was built because even the natives here also said that the temple existed longer than time itself. When we were there, there were some temple upgrading happening as for the upcoming tiruvila(festival) in the estate.

Here are some snapshots of the shrine...

When we 1st enter the temple,we saw the Idumban statue which was I think it was unique because of His position which shows He is praying to Jada Muni Ayya.He is standing directly opposite the Lord. Here He is..

Then, not far away from this shrine, there was another Guardian who is believed to be taking care of the natives,Sanggali Karuppana Swamy. This statue is in the thick palm tree jungle with is unique place in front of a giant tree for its spiritual reasons.
