Self- Awareness

Don't you think the current world is harsh on us?The scorching  sun, disasters of nature that grabs many mortals life here and there,I got the feeling that the world has started its ending period(kaliyuga). As a Hindu,it is a belief that we all have a purpose in lives. But nowadays, the purpose is becoming more material, like making money, buying properties, expensive cars, expensive designer clothes and etc.Well, for the material world, making money is a must,if not you cant live here.I just want to take aThrough my gurus, research and understandings, every human has birth and death, death does not know  your status, religion, gender, etc. It happens and no human being can stop this process nor one one can prevent  nature disasters from happening either. With this, what should we realize is there is A Stronger Force above us,The Ultimate Supreme Power or The God.

Well, actually we are more than what we are.We are not this body but a soul,(Sat,Atma). The body dies but not the soul. For an example,if we are visiting a place and suddenly we have a feeling that we have been here before, maybe we have been there in the previous birth.

 What is Karma(Karm)?

In my own words, and to make it simple,Karma is a act or deed that our Atma has did in the previous birth and we are taking the birth cycle through Karma.Karma can be good deeds or bad deeds, good thoughts or bad thoughts,an action and its reaction. So this explains why do someone suffers or feels comfort in this birth,It is a reflection of what you did in the previous life.Simple..

It follows the "What goes around, comes around" concept where If we did good in the previous birth,we will be living in a comfortable life now without miseries and the same goes otherwise. So for those who think that their life is misery more than comfort, that have themselves to blame and no one else. Some do have money crisis, family crisis, work crisis, relationship crisis which some do give up and don't bother about sorting them out.Well,it gets more worse and brings sorrow, unhappiness, disasters in your life and the only solution is ,God Realization.
Actually,we are in this rebirth cycle is to fulfill our Karma, we need to realize that by gaining birth in this world,we have a soul purpose that is Self-Awareness,in the other name,to reach the Supreme Divine with  no bondage of attachment and released from the cycle of birth and death.

This Self-Awareness can be gained only from true wholehearted devotion, and of course Meditation.
About Meditation, various people have their own technique and ways based on their gurus and researches and I also will share the techniques in upcoming post later on.This is the only solution that can cure your problems,God is always with us although we are ignorant of Him  due to our material and meaningless attachments in this material world.

What is the use buying expensive cars, phones, property when you you cant use them after death?I'm not telling that cars, property are not important, they are important for the survival of us human beings but do be Moderate. Some people do prefer money more than anything these days and let me say,Money does bring joy or happiness BUT it is temporary, for this material world. We must not forget that we do not bring anything physically even the body after death, just our soul.So my advice is to stop chasing material attachment and re-think your real aim in life.

Do email me for any questions or comments here,anandblacker@gmail.com.Thank you and this maybe this post can be digested by some people and some will, but this post is not my ideas, there are our Hinduism teachings. And i will post more about them in upcoming time.

Divine Journey

  Temples@Jabor,Terengganu

Gateway from Kuantan to Jabor

Recently the Oum Namah Shivay Team(O.N.S) had a trip to Jabor,Terengganu to discover some years old  and unique shrines there.Although we had  some hurdles on the way,the trip did not disappoint us.The trip gave us much more benefits spiritually and mentally. Let me guide you through out our journey,..

First,we travel deeper into the palm tree forest to visit a Muniswaran Temple that is believed to be many years old. This journey took us some time as we had to travel deeper in the forest with is sharp rocks and thick sand.It took us about 20 minutes to reach the temple from the Estate.

Upgrading process is going on

This is the Muniswaran Temple I was telling about, the main deity of this shrine is JadaMuniswaran Ayya or also known as JadaMuni.I could not tell actually when it was built because even the natives here also said that the temple existed longer than time itself. When we were there, there were some temple upgrading happening as for the upcoming tiruvila(festival) in the estate.

Here are some snapshots of the shrine...
Snapshot from the site

When we 1st enter the temple,we saw the Idumban statue which was I think it was unique because of His position which shows He is praying to Jada Muni Ayya.He is standing directly opposite the Lord. Here He is..

Then, not far away from this shrine, there was another Guardian who is believed to be taking care of the natives,Sanggali Karuppana Swamy. This statue is in the thick palm tree jungle with is unique place in front of a giant tree for its spiritual reasons.

Sanggili Karupar - The Loving Warrior

Sri Sanggali  Karupana Swamy

Sri Karuppana Swamy

First and foremost, the main factor of my Awareness about the true meaning and purpose of my life is because of Appa(Karuppuna Saamy).I do call Him,Appa as he is My Istha Deivam(Favorite God).Appa had changed my life totally into a better path.Everyone have their time where they realize the purpose of their birth and maybe some don't.Well, that's another story, let me share my ideas of Who is Sanggali Karrupar Swamy?

 Who is Sanggali Karuppana Swamy?

Sanggali Karrupana Swamy is known as the Guardian God(Kaaval Deivangal) for   the Tamilians.Well,as a curious seeker, you would search the Wiki by now about Appa's history,so I wont be telling the same story again.Let me say some things About Appa with my Own research.

Sanggali Karrupana Swamy

Normally, during our visit to Sanggali Karrupar's shrine,We serve  Cigars,Beers,Padayals(offerings on banana leaf) because it is a believe that during Their time They do consume alcohol and smoke thick cigars and also when we serve food, they would eat them .Well,it is actually a good practice to Thank the Gods and showing our Gratitude to Them and NOT demanding material like of things like Money and welfare.Just pray for your family's and your well being and safety.Appa takes good care of who give good respect and worshiping  Him wholeheartedly. I just want to get some things straight,The goat sacrifice rituals done in temples nowadays,in my opinion is unnecessary.Because, this rituals are practiced by us to serve them, the Gods did not say to Sacrifice Living Animals for Them.Yes,many people do not realize that sacrificing a animal in front the Gods is a sin.We sacrifice animals and eat them in the name of Gods. You can ask,When people got Trance,Why They accept non-veg food?Because We taught Them to be Non-Veg in the 1st place. It is our very Own practice and Don't blame the Gods.

  • Don't serve beer in bottles or cans,we SHOULD serve the beer in tiny glasses, because as I said Appa has human like feelings,If we were served with bottles without glasses,we wont feel comfartable either right? This same goes to Them.
  •  As a Karuppana Swamy devotee, you MUST respect your Parents. Before we go out to any occasions and work, you SHOULD get their blessings(Asirvaatham) every single day. This gives us a positive energy through out the day.
  • Obviously, good words and thoughts and also deeds is a MUST.
  • Do serve  padayals(ponggal) for appa once a month, preferably Sundays.

Oum Sree Sanggali Karuppana Swamyeh  Thunai

This  Mantra above preferably recited 108 times a day or follow your availability.Gives you grace and a closer connection to Him.
